Just Better Care Central Coast

Just Better Care is Australia’s largest franchised provider of in-home aged care and disability support services, with 35 locations nationwide. 

The Just Better Care Central Coast office, located in Gosford, NSW, has a dedicated team of office support staff and 65 local caring Support Workers who assist older Australians and people living with disability on the Central Coast with a wide range of needs. 

We support between 150 to 200 clients every week to remain independent and active in their community, and what makes us get up and come to work every day is seeing the impact we make in the lives of our clients. 

What challenges did you face in your organisation?

As an organisation that is an NDIS registered provider and provider of Home Care Packages, quality, compliance and the safety of both our staff and clients is paramount. Before implementing Annature, we faced an ongoing challenge, particularly with vision-impaired clients, around sighting documentation and the admin time for our team to manually prepare up to 14 documents for onboarding which is a requirement for some of our clients to begin receiving their support services. 

The onset of COVID-19 in 2020 saw many businesses adjust their way of working. For us at Just Better Care Central Coast, we needed a solution where we could still get the onboarding paperwork to clients but limit the exposure to COVID-19 for the safety of both our clients and team members. This led us to Annature.

How has Annature improved your processes?

Since digitising this onboarding documentation into Annature for eSigning, we’ve saved admin time and the clients and staff prefer the digital experience. It’s also more convenient for record keeping, and easily saving and sending digital copies to all signatories.

After completion, the signed documents go directly from Annature into the client’s profile, and the client also receives a copy for their files. As these signed documents always had to be scanned when the team returned to our office from a day with clients, Annature has saved us time printing and scanning, not to mention our paper usage has decreased significantly.

We’ve enjoyed the ease and simplicity of Annature so much that we are now rolling it out for our internal documentation too. We will take advantage of any opportunity to introduce technology and efficiencies in our operation, whilst still maintaining quality and compliance. Annature has been a game changer for us and I only wish that we had found this solution sooner.
