From time to time, Annature (we, us or Company) may be required by law to provide certain written notices or disclosures to you. Described below are the terms and conditions for providing these notices and disclosures to you electronically through the Annature system.
Please read the information below carefully and thoroughly. If you can access this information electronically to your satisfaction and agree to this Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure (ERSD), please confirm your agreement by clicking “Review document” within the Annature system.
Getting paper copies
At any time, you may request a paper copy of any record that we have provided or made available to you electronically. You will be able to download and print documents we send through the Annature system during and immediately after the signing session. If you choose to create an Annature account, you may also access these documents for a limited period of time (usually 30 days) after they are first sent to you.
After this period, if you would like us to send you paper copies of any documents from our office, we are happy to do so at no cost to you. You may request delivery of paper copies by following the procedure described below.
Withdrawing your consent
If you choose to receive notices and disclosures from us electronically, you may change your mind at any time. You can decide that you would prefer to receive required notices and disclosures only in paper format going forward.
The process for informing us of your decision to receive future notices and disclosures in paper form—and for withdrawing your consent to receive them electronically—is described below.
Consequences of changing your mind
If you choose to receive required notices and disclosures only in paper format, it may slow the speed at which we can complete certain steps in transactions with you and deliver services to you. This is because we must first send the required notices or disclosures to you in paper form, and then wait to receive your acknowledgement of their receipt.
In addition, you will no longer be able to use the Annature system to receive required notices and consents electronically. You will also be unable to sign documents electronically through the Annature system.
All notices and disclosures will be sent to you electronically
Unless you tell us otherwise in accordance with the procedures described herein, we will provide all required notices, disclosures, authorisations, acknowledgements, and other documents to you electronically through the Annature system. These documents will be provided or made available to you whenever required during the course of our relationship with you.
To reduce the chance of you inadvertently missing any notice or disclosure, we prefer to provide all required documents using the same method and to the same address you have given us. This means you may choose to receive all notices and disclosures electronically, or you may receive them in paper format through the postal system.
If you do not agree with this process, please let us know as described below. Please also refer to the paragraph immediately above, which explains the consequences of electing not to receive notices and disclosures electronically.
How to contact Annature
You may contact us to change how we communicate with you electronically, to request paper copies of certain information, or to withdraw your prior consent to receive notices and disclosures electronically as follows:
By sending an email to withdraw@annature.com.au. In the body of your request, you must include your email address, full name, mailing address, and telephone number.
To advise Annature of your new email address
To notify us of a change to the email address where we should send electronic notices and disclosures, you must send an email to support@annature.com.au.
To request paper copies from Annature
To request paper copies of notices and disclosures that we have previously provided to you electronically, you must send an email to withdraw@annature.com.au. In the body of your request, please include your email address, full name, mailing address, and telephone number.
To withdraw your consent with Annature
To inform us that you no longer wish to receive future notices and disclosures in electronic format, you must send an email to withdraw@annature.com.au. In the body of your request, please include your email address, full name, mailing address, and telephone number.
Required hardware and software
The minimum system requirements for using the Annature system may change over time. Our current system requirements can be found here: minimum system requirements.
Acknowledging your access and consent to receive and sign documents electronically
To confirm that you can access this information electronically—similar to other electronic notices and disclosures we will provide—you must acknowledge that you have read this ERSD and that either (1) you are able to print this ERSD on paper or electronically save it for future reference and access, or (2) you are able to email this ERSD to an address where it can be printed or saved for future reference and access. If you consent to receiving notices and disclosures exclusively in electronic format as described herein, please confirm your agreement by clicking “Review document” within the Annature system.
By clicking “Review document” within the Annature system, you confirm that:
- You can access and read this Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure; and
- You can print this Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure on paper, or save or send it to a location where it can be printed for future reference and access; and
- Until or unless you notify Annature as described above, you consent to receive exclusively through electronic means all notices, disclosures, authorisations, acknowledgements, and other documents that Annature is required to provide or make available during the course of your relationship with us.
